#GivingTuesdayatBonas

What a difference a day – and you – can make!

Your generosity during #GivingTuesdayatBonas has been overwhelming, surpassing the initial goal of raising $55,000 for our many outreach ministries. Thank you so much!

If you missed #GivingTuesdayatBonas, you can still make a donation at www.sbu.edu/fcsc
Thank you for your generosity.

The Franciscan Center for Social Concern (FCSC) offers opportunities for students to engage in transformational service opportunities. SBU students engage with the world by:

• Providing nourishment and fellowship at the Warming House
• Serving as role models for local children through Bona Buddies
• Helping socialize dogs and cats at the SPCA, preparing them for their forever homes
• Taking students off campus for transformational service experiences
• Learning about sustainable agriculture and service through the Farm to Table program

The FCSC is made up of a lot of moving parts: student volunteers, generous donors such as yourself and students who work within the FCSC. Students have the opportunity to:

• Learn about and run a small nonprofit.
• Develop grant writing skills and participate in credited internships.
• Practice management and leadership skills they can take with them upon graduation from SBU.

Your contribution during #GivingTuesdayatBonas ensures that the FCSC continues to offer service and social justice programs that change lives and allow students to learn while they serve.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.
