Hello! My name is Carys James, and I am a first year student at St. Bonaventure University. I am a Health Science major, and a mentor for our Bona Biddies program. This year, we are raising money for the Franciscan Center for Social Concern and specifically, Bona Buddies.

Bona Buddies is a mentorship program where students from the local area come to St. Bonaventure's campus for a few hours every week. Each child that is a part of the program is matched with a St. Bonaventure mentor. The mentor and the child get to talk about their day and/or week, play games, and even participte in activities with other clubs on campus. This program essentially offers a safe space for kids to make connections and have positive role models, all while having fun. 

A donation from you would guarantee smiles on all of the faces of everyone who puts so much effort into making sure Bona Buddies is a successful program. More importantly, a donation would mean that Bona Buddies is able to continue making a difference in the lives of local children.

Without donations from generous people, the Franciscan Center wouldn't be able to do so many amazing things for our school, and community. All donations are greatly appreciated! On behalf of Bona Buddies, thank you!
