Welcome to My Personal Page- Ryan Wawrzeniec
Hello, my name is Ryan Wawrzeniec, I am a first year biology major. Even as an incoming freshman, I have found several ways for me to give back through campus and through the community of Olean. My main focus this year is currently working at the Warming House which is believed to be the oldest student run soup kitchen in the country. This is very important to me as it is a very important part of me as I give back to people who are less fortunate than me or for anyone who just needs a home cooked meal and a place to stay warm and have a social interaction with the students who volunteer. One of my second sections of volunteering is SBU@SPCA, which is a chance to allow myself and other students to prepare cats and dogs for socialization in preparation for adoption.
This helps me to get an improved experience in leadership and being able to practice my Franciscan values in my everyday life. The university values of compassion, wisdom and integrity are values we want our students to take with them when they leave St. Bonaventure.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about why I am doing this and thank you so much for considering a gift to my page which will aid the university and our Franciscan Center for Social Concern.
Best regards,
Ryan
