Hello, my name is Kaylyn O'Grady. I am a freshman, Public Health and Educational studies major. I am involved in Bona Buddies and the Food Pantry here on campus. Bona Buddies is a program where local students at the elementary schools in Olean and Allegheny come to the school. They are each paired with a college student. They come once a week to the college and spend two hours here. During the first hour, the student can read books, play games, work on homework, etc with their Buddy. During the second hour, a club from the school comes in and teaches the kids something. The Food Pantry is a place that students can go to get food on campus. We have a wide range of food that is available Monday through Friday. It helps anybody that doesn't have a meal plan as well as people unable to get to the store. Both of these programs are crucial to the school. They help bring a ton of joy to the people involved and help to make this school a better place.
