I am a senior strategic communications major, and have been involved with Bona Buddies my entire college career, and am now entering my second year as coordinator of Bona Buddies, after being a mentor my first two years. Bona Buddies is youth mentorship program that pairs a student from the surrounding community with a Bonaventure student, providing them with exposure to diversity, access to collegiate resources, academic assistance, and much more. Our program is largely concerned with serving children of lower socioeconomic status, who struggle academically and lack proper resources to succeed, while also accommodating learning disabilities and academic insecurities.

Your generous donation allows us to keep our program running and allowing the students to have unique opportunities they usually would not have. Donating allows us to provide supplies, snacks, and trips. Everyone involved with this program can agree that it not only changes the lives of the buddies, but also the mentors.
