My name is Raj Patel and I am one of the co-coordinators this year of the SBU@SPCA club. Many of the animals at the SPCA have had tough lives, so we volunteer at the SPCA every weekend and help the cats and dogs become more comfortable with people so they can get adopted. My favorite part of volunteering at the SPCA is seeing the animals grow up over the months and years. It is always a great feeling when one of the animals that have been at the shelter for a long time finally gets adpoted. I have been volunteering at the SPCA since my freshman year, and I am excited to be a coordinator this year!
