Hi everyone!

For those of you who may not know, my name is Kate Bennett and I am a junior Early Childhood and Inclusive Education major at St. Bonaventure University. Giving Tuesday is a fundraiser that Bonas participates in every year to help support the community service orgainizations on campus. All the money raised from this event goes to the clubs and orgainizations that serve the community like The Warming House, which is our local soup kictchen that provides free meals to community members six days a week, our Food Pantry on campus, Silver Wolves which pairs Bonas students with a member of a local senior living home, Bona Buddies and the local SPCA animal shelter. I have been a member of Bona Buddies all three years at St. Bonaventure as well as attended trips to volunteer at the Warming House and the SPCA animal shelter on multiple occasions. All these clubs have an impact on the lives of people in our community and in order to keep them running we rely heavily on donations throughout the year from this fundraiser.
