Hello family and friends! My name is Emily Drain and I am a Freshman at Saint Bonaventure University. While I was in high school I had the opportunity to participate in programs similar to Bona Buddies where I was able to make connections with young kids from all different backrounds. This experience was so rewarding and I am so lucky and blessed that I am able to continue this experience at Saint Bonaventure. I am a member of both Bona Buddies and Silver Wolves here on campus and both these programs have made a huge impact on my experience at Bonas. Bona Buddies is an amzing program where local kids can come to campus after school and spend a couple hours doing fun activities with Bonaventure students. As a mentor in this program, I have gotten the opportunity to see the exitment and joy on the kid's faces as they jump out of the car and run to their mentor to begin talking about their day. Please join me in giving to these amazing programs, such as Bona Buddies, so that these services can continue to thrive in bringing joy to the Bonaventure community.
