Hi, my name is Cassy Coyne. I am from a small town in Manchester, NY and I came to St. Bonaventure University to study Adolescence Education and History. I started at St. Bonaventure this past August, and I am a current freshman enrolled at the University. Coming from a tight-knight, loving community myself, I have come to appreciate the Franciscan values of inclusion, community, and integrity that St. Bonaventure has to offer. 

Since being at St. Bonaventure, I have found ways to become involved on campus, and it has been such a great experience. Bona Buddies caught my attention immediately, especially because I aspire to be a future educator. I wanted to join Bona Buddies to be able to form meaningful connections and bonds with those around me, as well as being able to give back to the Bonaventure community in this way. Being involved with a youth-mentoring program has been eye-opening, and I am appreciative of what I have learned thus far. In addition, having this mentoring experience with children will prove to be especially useful when I apply the skills I learn through this program to my future classroom.
