Hello! My name is Paige Brent, and I am a current freshman at Saint Bonaventure University. I am from the small town of Honeoye Falls, NY, about 2 hours away from Bonaventure. I am an undecided liberal arts major but am exploring careers in the educational and health professions departments.

I decided to come to Bonaventure University because of the sense of community I felt as soon as I stepped foot on campus. During my visit, I immediately felt a sense of home, and my gut knew this was the place I wanted to spend the next four years. During my short time on campus, I have learned about the importance of Saint Bonaventure's Franciscan values such as friendship, community, inclusion, and compassion.

I joined Bona Buddies because I see the value in forming meaningful connections with others and hope to promote inclusivity and positivity within our school community. My buddy Josiah and I spend our time together engaging in meaningful activities and talking about things he enjoys. Being an only child myself brings even more meaning to this program because I have the opportunity to act as a positive role model for someone who looks up to me. It makes my day when he tells me that he does not want to leave at the end of our time.
