Hi my name is Victoria Cleary. I am an Inclusive Childhood Education Major. This is my second year as a Bona Buddies Mentor. Bona Buddies is a great program that St. Bonaventure offers to the community. Children from the surrounding communities are able to come to campus and partcipate in a wide range of activities. We offer homework help and host events with our buddies throughout the year. This year with COVID things have looked a little different. This semester we decorated goodie bags for our buddies and also offered homework help via Zoom. Although it was not ideal to not see our buddies in personal we were still able to make an impact in their lives.
