Hi, I'm Grace a Junior Accounting and Finance major. I am a member of the Students in Money Management (SIMM) club, a Teachers Assistant for Managerial Accounting, a student worker in Advancement, a Freshman Leadership Mentor, and I am one of the coordinators of the brand new Food Pantry here on campus.

I became involved with the pantry about a year ago when Franciscan Center for Social Concern director, Alice Miller Nation, asked me to be a part of a task force dedicated to combating food insecurity --- defined as the lack of having access to enough food. During our meetings, we discussed how nationally 25-30% of undergraduate students struggle with a food insecurity and upon this realization, we knew implementing a food pantry on campus was something we wanted to move forward with. Now that the pantry is officially open our goal is to welcome those who need the resource, continue to receive any donations (monetary or food donations) to continue to expand, and partner with clubs and organizations to implement the pantry within the Bonaventure community.
