Hello, I'm Samantha!

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. I am a senior here at St. Bonaventure University, studying both Strategic Communication and Business Management. I am from New Jersey and I ended up here because of family connections to this tight-knit, school community.
In my free time, I help lead the following clubs on campus: Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a ministry group, Love Your Melon, a philanthropic group raising awareness about pediatric cancer, and Her Campus, a group of writers for an online magazine for women.
In August, I started a new journey as a Development Assistant for the Franciscan Center for Social Concern (FCSC). I work closely with Alice Miller Nation, the Director of the FCSC, and alongside other student employees.
Most importantly, taking on this new position meant aiming my focus toward a huge mission: to learn all I can about Giving Tuesday and to develop a growth strategy for this year's FCSC Giving Tuesday campaign. Ever since Alice gave me that mission, my passion has grown for this organization and I am able to appreciate all of the work that goes behind each service program.
With that said, please consider donating to support all of the opportunities that the FCSC has to offer Bonaventure students. Every contribution made will not only help students to experience serving others, but it will help those that we serve in unimaginable ways.
Again, thank you for taking a moment to read about my story behind being a Development Assistant of the FCSC.
